The needle point patterns shown in this site are all hand painted original works of artist Dora Radi. Dora, an Hungarian artist who worked for 15 years as a designer for a European needlepoint company makes all of her designs free hand. This ensures the buyer that they are purchasing an exclusive. Most of the patterns are painted along a line so they are easy to follow. An original piece that is 14" by 18" can take from six to eight hours to produce. An artist whose art spans many cultures; Indian, Asian, British and Polynesian, Dora has had some of her paintings finished with petit point and sold for as much as $1,500.00. These canvases are so beautifully detailed that some would just as soon frame then as stitch them. 

Dora, however hopes you do indeed stitch these designs, and keep alive the fine art of needle point.
